10 Points to Make the Choice for a Right Car Dealership

Now there are a lot of dealers of various brands of cars. But not all dealers are equally good and most importantly honest with their customers, some strive to deceive. Today we will try to explain by points - how to choose a car dealership to buy a car.

1)       Official website of the manufacturer. A lot of information can be obtained from the official websites of manufacturers. We open the site and look for a dealer in your city. Usually, both address and telephone numbers are indicated there, so you can freely use this information. On the manufacturer’s website, there are practically no dishonest dealers, they monitor the situation and check each dealer in advance.

2)    Dealer rating. On the official website of the manufacturer, dealer ratings are often indicated, some receive the title of “gold” or “platinum” dealer. This suggests that the service and convenience are at a high level, it is in this salon that they prefer to buy cars.

3)    Customer reviews. After receiving information on the official website, read reviews of ordinary buyers about the dealer on the Internet. Like it or not, you will still find some information if all the buyers (or almost all, more than 80%) write that the dealer is normal, we’ll go to the salon.

4)    First trip to a car dealership. After you arrive at a Escondido Mercedes Dealership, you should immediately pay attention to the service. Ideally, one manager should work with you, who will immediately come up and unobtrusively offer his services. This characterizes the car dealership on the positive side. If you went to a car dealership and no one approached you within the first 10 minutes, although you walk around cars, this indicates poor service.

Either there are not enough people (saving on maintenance personnel), or there is no necessary organization or the managers have little money (there is no interest) and they are all sitting at computers (solitaire - kerchief), but they don’t care about you! Why is that bad? It's simple after you buy a car in such a car dealership, everyone will forget about you, if something breaks in the car, then you have to force out normal maintenance! So we pay attention to the attitude towards the buyer! This is really important!

5)    Cars in the cabin. Another important aspect is the exhibition machines in the cabin, all models must be open and accessible to potential buyers. Ideally, it looks like this - you can freely open any car in the passenger compartment, pull the handles, etc., open the hood to see what is inside, open the trunk to see what is there, and it does not have to be a manager near you. Many people are embarrassed by strangers. If all the cars are closed, and even more so they are not in the cabin! And the managers answer - what’s there to look at, the car is the car, it speaks of not high service of the cabin (a frivolous approach), it’s better to refuse it!

6)    Test drive. The manager who works with you, either on his own or at your request, should offer you a test drive by car. Must tell and show the car from all sides. In very good salons (gold or platinum dealerships), test cars can be several, different trim levels. For example - one in the maximum version on the "machine", the other in the minimum or middle version - on the "mechanics". This is considered a very good salon. Because several test cars were purchased, it means the dealer does not save on customers.

7)    The cost of the car. Nobody can impose additional services on you by hook or by crook. If a car, for example, costs 500,000 dollars, then it should cost 500,000 dollars. Unfortunately, many dealers hang additional equipment on tens or even hundreds of thousands and say that you cannot buy a car without this equipment! This must be stopped immediately! It is illegal! You yourself can choose additional equipment, but not the dealer "imposed" it on you.

8)    Down payment. After you have chosen a car, you need to order it. Ideally, he will be in the parking lot of the dealer. But as practice shows, especially with regional dealers, Best Mercedes Lease Deals are on order. That is, we make an initial payment and then wait. The down payment should be no more than 10% of the cost of the car. It can be less but if the dealer requires more, this is not good.

9)    Documents when ordering. When pre-ordering, an agreement must be drawn up between you and the salon. The bottom line is that a car dealership took N from you - the amount of money (amount), this money is a down payment, is included in the total cost of the car (amount), and that the residual value of the car is so much (amount)!

Delivery time of the car N- the number of weeks - months (must be spelled out strictly, to the maximum date of receipt of the car) If the car is not received on time, interest will be charged on the seller for each day of delay (usually 0.5 - 1% of the cost of the car). The person who ordered the car must be you, below the details and signatures of the two parties.

10) Delivery times. It’s a very controversial issue, on the one hand, if the car is in high demand, the lines can stretch from 3 to 6 months, production will simply not be in time. But on the other hand, dealers specifically stretch the time in order to scroll through your money (if the down payment is more than 20 - 30%). If the car is not so popular, then the normal delivery time is 2 to 3 months, if more, it’s worth considering!

11) Additional bonuses. The salon is interested in you, in the subsequent maintenance, therefore, the self-respecting salon will give you a discount on its services so that you go to be serviced by them. Also, small gifts from the dealer are considered good form, and in winter they can give you a set of winter tires (after all, in winter it is the best time to buy a car).
